(CONSTANTINE) – The Constantine varsity boys basketball team has a new head coach, but it's someone familiar with the program. David Swanwick was hired November 9 to take over as the varsity boys coach. He replaces Travis Walker who recently resigned as head coach and Constantine High School Principal. Swanwick has been the Constantine JV boys basketball coach for the last two years. Swanwick served 9 years as the Mendon boys varsity basketball coach, stepping down in April of 2017. During his time at Mendon, Swanwick's teams went 106-82 with 5 winning seasons and a District championship. They also played in a Regional championship game.
