HS GYMNASTICS:
DeKalb won the gymnastics sectional at Wawasee on Saturday. The Barons edged Angola by just over 2 points. East Noble was fifth, Wawasee sixth, and Lakeland seventh in a 13 team field.
DeKalb’s Sarah Boyd won the all-around. Lakeland’s Emily Byler was 19th and Natalie Huffman 23rd.

HS GIRLS BASKETBALL:
NorthWood beat Salem 37-29 to win the 3A state championship on Saturday. Maddy Payne received the mental attitude award.
Loogootee won the 1A championship, Linton-Stockton won the 2A title, and Lawrence North won the 4A championship.
