The news from Dayton Beach this morning is good. NASCAR driver Ryan Newman was in serious condition but his injuries are not life-threatening. Newman was leading on the final lap of yesterday’s 500 when his car spun in tight traffic...went airborne and was struck by another car before coming to rest on its top. Denny Hamlin won the race.
