Albion man faces new drug charges, probation violations

ALBION – A 51 year old Albion man was arrested early Wednesday morning on multiple drug and gun charges by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force, after originally being sought for parole and probation violations by police in Noble County.
The DEA Task Force, which comprises representatives from numerous law enforcement agencies in northeast Indiana to include the Indiana State Police, Noble County and Steuben County Sheriff Departments, was summoned to the 300 block of South 3rd Street in Albion Wednesday morning after officers from the Noble County Sheriff and Albion Police Departments served arrest warrants on William G. Doster II.
According to a Task Force member from the State Police, during the arrest, permission was given by the home owner to search the premises. The search allegedly yielded methamphetamine, an estimated one to two pounds of marijuana, items of drug paraphernalia and two handguns. One of the guns, a .357 revolver was reported stolen from Allen County.
Due to a medical issue, Doster was taken to Parkview Noble Hospital before being incarcerated in the Noble County Jail, without bond, on the following preliminary charges: Dealing in Methamphetamine, Dealing in Marijuana
Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Paraphernalia, Parole and Probation Violation Arrest Warrants.
