BRISTOL – Two men are in custody following a pursuit that started in Michigan and ended in the Hoosier State.
A Michigan trooper saw a speeding vehicle northbound on Kalamazoo Street near Indian Prairie Road at 7:15 Sunday evening.
The pursuit went west on Chicago Road through White Pigeon and then south on U.S. 131, entering Indiana and eventually turning onto State Road 120.
Bristol Police used stop sticks to deflate the tires but the suspect vehicle continued to flee.
The suspect vehicle crashed after turning into River Launch Drive.
Officers arrested the driver, a 21 year old Topeka man and the passenger, a 20 year old Goshen resident.
Police determined the vehicle, a 1999 Dodge Neon, was stolen between midnight and noon on Sunday from Andrew Sattlemaier at 11950 West County Road 750 North.
Michigan authorities will seek charges and extradition on both individuals.
