AUBURN -- Just after 9:50 A.M. on Saturday Morning, DeKalb County Sherriff's Deputies responded to a two car crash in the 2000 block of State Route 8.

38 year old Brandy Williams of Butler, was heading west bound on State Route 8 where she saw a bunch of smoke in front of her and could not see the vehicle. While driving her 2009 GMC Acadia, she then rear ended a 2010 Dodge Ram truck.

19-year-old Samuel Beechy of Lagrange was also west bound when his truck began to have mechanical problems, and would not go out of third gear. Beechy saw black smoke coming from the truck's exhaust and began to slow down when he was rear ended by Williams.

Beechy was unhurt, but Williams was transported to DeKalb Health complaining of chest pain. The crash is still under investigation by the DeKalb County Sherriff's Office.
