JEFFERSONVILLE -- In Jeffersonville, Indiana.. one person is dead and two others injured following a home explosion.
The blast severely damaged one home -- officials say at least a dozen other structures are affected.
Chief Eric Hedrick with the Jeffersonville Fire Department said, "We have one house that was affected, that was completely damaged and we have the surrounding houses, 12 to 15, that have been affected. Immediately around the house in question, we have 5 or 6 that took on considerable damage."
The scene is under investigation by Jeffersonville Police and Indiana State Police.
