COLDWATER – Three people were arrested following a Monday afternoon stand off in Coldwater.
Coldwater Deputy Director of Public Safety Joe Schied says the incident started with the investigation of an armed robbery on Jefferson Street at 4:30 PM.
The alleged suspects went into a house on Peckham Street. Coldwater Police, along with the Branch County Sheriff's Department and the Michigan State Police set up a perimeter around the house and closed down Peckham between Monroe and Clay Streets.
At 5:45 PM, the men came out of the house peacefully and were taken into custody. They were then transported to the Branch County Jail.
