NOTTAWA – A weekend fire damaged a house in Nottawa.
According to the Centreville Fire Department, they were called just after 11:30 Sunday morning to a house fire on M-86. Two people who were in the house told firefighters the blaze started in the kitchen.
The fire was put out in 10 minutes, however there was significant damage done to the structure. No one was hurt, but a cat was killed in the fire.
Officials are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
