ANGOLA – What was initially reported as a vehicle fire turned into heavy fire damage to a pair of homes in the 800 block of Stevens Street in Angola Saturday evening.
Firefighters were dispatched at 8:38 p-m and while enroute were advised that the fire involved two residences.
The burning car was apparently in the garage at 809 Stevens Street and spread to 811 occupied by Michael and Caleb Kelly.
Fire units from Fremont, Steuben Township, and Ashley-Hudson assisted Angola firefighters at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
