LAGRANGE – The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department says there is a scam going around by phone calls.
The caller states that he works for the court and that you missed jury duty and now you are in contempt. He claims that he works out of the Sheriff's Department on Interstate 9, then he wants court costs.
This is not true. Do not give him money or any personal information.
If you want to confirm that you do not owe any fines, hang up and call our Courthouse at (260) 499-6300.
