MASON TOWNSHIP – A search of a Mason Township house led to the arrest of a woman on a drug charge.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant Wednesday in the 70,000 block of Sterling Drive. While searching the house, detectives found a marijuana grow operation that was in compliance with Michigan's Medical Marijuana Act. Further investigation uncovered meth and meth paraphernalia in a bedroom.
Officers arrested a 48 year old woman on a charge of possession of meth. Her name has not been released, pending her arraignment in District Court.
The investigation is continuing.
