Former EDC President charged with theft


LAGRANGE – The former president of the LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation is charged with theft.

Ryne Krock was booked this morning at the LaGrange County Jail on two counts of theft at the level 6 felony and one count of theft as a class A misdemeanor.

Indiana State Police Detective David Poe initiated an investigation January 24th after an internal audit by the EDC turned up several allegedly unauthorized credit card purchases made by Krock between June 1st 2016 and last December.

Those purchases totaled about $4,000 according to Poe.

Krock’s last day with the EDC was January 8th. He joined the EDC in April of 2015 after serving four years in Toledo city government.
