Snow removal emergency for Bronson, Burr Oak

2018-02-09

UNDATED – The threat of some significant snowfall has caused two one area community to take action.

The City of Bronson and the Village of Burr Oak are declaring a Snow Emergency in advance of the projected snow storm that is supposed to effect our listening area starting tonight and lasting through Friday.

The Snow Emergencies for both communities starts at 9 PM tonight and will last until 12 PM on Saturday. Officials in both Bronson and Burr Oak are asking citizens to please not park on any street within the City of Bronson and the Village of Burr Oak. This ensures that staff has enough room to clear the roads as quickly as possible.

Cars parked on the road during the Snow Emergency may be ticketed or towed.

Due to the weather, Bronson City Hall closed at 12:00 PM today. Water bills will be accepted on Monday without penalty. They can also be placed in the drop box (in a sealed envelop clearly marked with the property address). Please make sure the envelop goes all the way down the chute.
