Police seize $30,000 and arrest two brothers

PLEASANT TOWNSHIP – Two rural Angola brothers face drug charges following an investigation on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip, Steuben County Sheriff’s deputies and detectives went to a home on Country Road 300 North near State Road 827 around 10 a-m.

They made contact with 30-year-old Luke Parnell and 33-year-old Noah Parnell, obtained a search warrant, and eventually took the brothers to the Steuben County Jail.

Officers seized $30-thousand dollars in cash and drug related items.

They charged Luke Parnell with possession of a legend drug, dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Noah Parnell was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Both men posted cash bond and were released.
