St. Joseph County Road Projects Starting Next Week

(ST. JOSEPH COUNTY) – Road work on three different projects will begin next week in St. Joseph County.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says they will be resurfacing over 19 miles of roadway on three different roads starting on Tuesday, July 9.

MDOT crews will be be working on U.S. 131 from Dickinson Road in Constantine to Garber Road in White Pigeon. They will also be resurfacing M-86 from South Main Street in Three Rivers to West Main Street in Centreville; along with M-60 from Hoffman Road in Three Rivers to Plainfield Drive in Mendon.

The total cost of the projects is $2.5 million.

MDOT reminds drivers to be aware of single lane closures and flaggers in the construction areas. The projects should be completed by September 17.
