(WHITE PIGEON) – One person is dead following a crash between a vehicle and a train.

The White Pigeon Police say they were called at 8:22 AM Friday to the Grand Elk Railroad as it crosses West Chicago Road. A vehicle driven by a 76 year old White Pigeon resident collided with the train, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
