Two People Injured In DeKalb County Crash

(WATERLOO) – Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash near Waterloo.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called out just after 2:30 Sunday afternoon to a two vehicle crash in the 2400 block of U.S. 6. Investigators say a car was traveling east on U.S. 6 and crossed over the center line, striking a westbound vehicle.

One of the drivers, a 24 year old individual, reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries. The other driver, a 17 year old girl, suffered pain in her back and neck.

Assisting at the scene were the Waterloo and Corunna Fire Departments, the Waterloo Marshall’s Office, the Indiana State Police, Parkview EMS and the Parkview Samaritan Helicopter.
