CHA Receives 975 Doses Of Pfizer Vaccine
By: Mike Stiles - Wednesday, January 13, 2021

(COLDWATER) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency is receiving doses of the Pfizer vaccine to combat COVID-19.

CHA officials say they will be getting 975 doses of the vaccine because of a new collaboration with the Kalamazoo County Health Department. Kalamazoo County has an ultra cold freezer which is needed to store the Pfizer vaccine.

Because of these additional doses of the vaccine, the CHA says they have scheduled clinics for PreK-12 grade teaching staff, and any remaining individuals that are in category 1A.

CHA officials say there won't be enough doses to vaccinate everyone in the PreK-12 group, but it will make a good start towards meeting that goal. The CHA is working with local hospitals in the tri-county area to get the vaccine to those who need it.

Please continue to monitor the CHA website. Click Here. You can also visit their Facebook page for additional vaccine clinics in the area.
