(WOLCOTTVILLE) – A Wolcottville man is behind bars following an incident at his home.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office says deputies were sent to the 6500 south block of 90 East for a report of a man laying in the road, being loud and waiving a phone around. Deputies arrived and identified the man a 64 year Michael Kline of Wolcottville, who was outside of his residence and trying to get inside.

An investigation revealed that earlier in the evening, deputies responded to the same address for a civil disturbance between Kline and his wife. Both were given disorderly conduct warnings and Kline was taken to a friend's residence for the remainder of the evening.

Kline later returned to his home and began yelling at his wife.

Kline was arrested and taken to the LaGrange County Jail for a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. The matter is being forwarded to the LaGrange County Prosecutor's Office for review.
