(CONSTANTINE) – Like many other schools in the area, Constantine Public Schools will be going to remote learning.

Starting Monday, November 16, the entire District will move to their on line learning or Constantine Experience Model. Schools will return to in person instruction on Monday, November 30.

Constantine Schools returned to face to face instruction on Monday. However, an increase in positive COVID-19 cases and contact tracing have heavily impacted St. Joseph County. During a special Constantine Board of Education meeting Thursday, Superintendent Jim Wiseley shared that as of Tuesday, numbers for the District were a concern. ...... {LISTEN}.

Wiseley told the School Board he met with staff on Wednesday. The Teacher's Union sent out a survey and Wiseley says the majority of staff members favored remote learning. ...... {LISTEN}.

Wiseley says for the two weeks of remote learning, students will still be attending CTE Monday and Wednesday of each week. Transportation will be provided from the school to CTE.

Seven day food packs will be available on Tuesday November 17 and November 24 from 2:30 to 3:45 PM at the High School bus loop.

Also, internet will be provided for K-12 students in the Middle School cafeteria for those who do not have internet at home. Educational supports will be provided.
