LaGrange County Election Results

(LAGRANGE) – Several incumbent candidates were re-elected to offices across LaGrange County in Tuesday's election.

Kevin Myers ran unopposed and was elected to the Middle District County Commissioner seat with 8,692 votes. Incumbent South District County Commissioner Larry Miller ran unopposed and was re-elected with 8, 610 votes.

There were three seats up on the LaGrange County Council, and the incumbents were all re-elected. Jeff Brill was re-elected and received 5,339 votes. Incumbent Mike Strawser received 5,836 votes to be re-elected and incumbent Steve McKowen had 4,834 votes to win another term on the Council. Tom Swihart received 2,251 votes.

In the race for the District 51 State Representative seat, incumbent Denny Zent received 17,628 votes defeat challenger Michael Stephenson who received 5,246 votes.

Incumbent State Senator Sue Glick ran unopposed and received 41,696 votes.

In the race for the Indiana Third District seat to the United States Congress, incumbent Jim Banks defeated challenger Chip Coldiron 96,783 to 29,053.
