Elkhart County Crash Injures Two People

(UNDATED) – Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash on Sunday.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, 22 year old Sophia Liechty of Wakarusa was driving east on County Road 26 at 2:30 Sunday afternoon and stopped at the intersection of County Road 19.
Liechty failed to yield the right of way and struck a northbound vehicle, driven by 50 year old Stacey Overmyer of Goshen. Overmyer's vehicle went off the road and then struck a tree.
Overmyer was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for a cut to the left knee. Liechty was given a citation for failing to yield the right of way.
