(ONTWA TOWNSHIP) – A traffic stop led to the arrest of two individuals.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team says they conducted a traffic stop Tuesday near the 22,000 block of North Shore Drive in Ontwa Township. Upon further investigation, detectives detained and arrested the man who was driving the vehicle and a female passenger. While searching the vehicle, officers found methamphetamine and meth paraphernalia.

The 20 year old man was charged with possession of meth and other motor vehicle violations. The 24 year old woman was arrested for having outstanding warrants. Their names are being withheld pending arraignment in Cass County District Court.
