Two Men Arrested Following Traffic Stop

(STROH) – A traffic stop led to the arrest of two men.

Deputies with the LaGrange County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop for a violation Friday in the area of County Road 1170 East and County Road 420 in Stroh. The driver, identified as 27 year old Kyle Ferrell was found to be operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license, and taken into custody. As Ferrell got out of the vehicle, deputies observed a hypodermic needle sitting in the driver's seat.

The passenger, 32 year old Jason Tuttle, was also found to be in possession of hypodermic needles and suspected methamphetamine. While searching the vehicle, it was discovered that both men were in possession of a large amount of counterfeit money.

They were arrested and taken to the LaGrange County Jail. Ferrell is charged with driving while suspended; possession of hypodermic needles and counterfeiting. Tuttle is charged with possession of methamphetamine; possession of hypodermic needles and counterfeiting.
