East Noble, Central Noble to switch to e-learning

KENDALLVILLE – Two Noble County school districts announced they are switching to e-Learning starting on Monday.

East Noble and Central Noble schools will keep students from their regular classrooms to reduce the threat of COVID-19 Coronavirus.

East Noble will provide e-Learning for students on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays each week except during Spring Break. Teachers will be in their classrooms Mondays through Fridays. Mondays and Fridays will be for e-learning preparation, assessing student work, collaboration and professional development. Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays teachers will provide direct support to students via their eLearning activities.

All East Noble school activities are cancelled until further notice, including athletic practice and competition, and clubs. A meal plan is being developed to provide a free daily sack lunch to all students delivered to area hubs. More information will come next week.

Central Noble Schools will begin eLearning on Tuesday. Schools will be closed on Monday. Students will check in with their teachers daily and lessons will be posted online on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of each week.

Arrangements are being made for food service staff to provide lunches to students in need. Details will be released next week.

The tentative return date at Central Noble is Monday, April 27th.
