LAGRANGE – LaGrange County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Kistner received a Life Saving Award last week for his actions in responding to a call last November.
The Dispatch Center received a call of an unresponsive male who had fallen and struck his head. Deputy Kistner arrived on scene and immediately began to provide CPR.
Deputy Kistner along with First Responders performed CPR and provided care for nearly an hour until the male was transported by ambulance from the scene.
Kistner’s quick actions directly contributed to saving this man’s life.
