ELKHART – A Granger man died in a three-vehicle crash near Elkhart Monday evening.

66-year-old John Levy was eastbound on Old 33 approaching County Road 3. As he slowed for the intersection his vehicle was struck from behind by an SUV...pushing it into the westbound lane where it was struck by an oncoming truck.

Levy died at Elkhart General Hospital.

22-year-old Cody Nemec of Elkhart was driving the SUV and suffered a cut to the head. The driver of the pickup was not injured.

The crash happened at 6:16 p-m.
