By: Mike Stiles - Monday, January 20, 2020

CENTREVILLE – 2020 will be another busy year for the St. Joseph County Road Commission.

The County Commission received an update from Road Commission Manager John Lindsey says the 2020 budget has $5.9 million in paving; $1.2 million in both the primary and local road chip-seal and $2 million between the Road Commission and the Townships in the allocation fund, which is used for both paving and chip-seal.

Lindsey says they also received a grant to do more work on Constantine Road, but it can't be used until 2021. He says the Road Commission will work with Florence Township to be able to continue the work this year on Constantine Road.
