LAGRANGE – During the month of November, Flagstar Bank offices in Indiana and Michigan held a fundraiser for the Farm.

Flagstar Bank Lagrange Branch Manager Karen Fleisher presented a check in the amount of $4,300.00 to Farm Place board member Margaret Malone.

The Farm recently held an open house to invite the public to see the new Farm house, which is being readied for an approved foster family. They will be on hand 24/7 on an emergency basis to take children who are removed from their homes because their parents have been arrested.

Plans are now on the drawing board to build a barn with office space where a child can interact with small animals and where they can meet with court officials, mental health professionals and others who have an interest in the child.
