AUBURN – A crash on I-69 in DeKalb County sent an Angola woman and her two adult passengers to Parkview Regional Medical Center on Sunday afternoon.
60-year-old Anne Reitz was driving south at the 323 mile marker in the passing lane when left the road and went into the grass median. She over-corrected, crossing both southbound lanes and into the west ditch where the vehicle struck two trees before stopping.
All three occupants suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Trooper James Bailey said all three were wearing seat belts and all airbags deployed helping to reduce the seriousness of their injuries.
