LAGRANGE – LaGrange County deputies arrested a Wolcottville man Sunday on numerous charges.

Jail records indicate 28-year-old Cody Mullins was charged with auto theft, pointing a firearm, leaving the scene of an accident, along with a warrant for failure to appear in court on drug charges and another warrant from Noble County.

Earlier in the day Mullins and an unidentified female allegedly forced James Scott from his GMC pickup at gun point and left him behind. Scott walked to a residence at 7445 South County Road 900 East and notified police.

LaGrange County deputies and Wolcottville Police searched the area and found the vehicle near 300 East and 600 South in Steuben County. Mullins and the female were not with it but were located later.
