SHIPSHEWANA – A collision between two GMC Yukons sent a Wolcottville woman to the hospital Monday afternoon.

57-year-old Loretta Schwartz was taken to Parkview Lagrange Hospital for bruising caused by her seat belt.

Schwartz was following the other vehicle when it stopped to yield to oncoming traffic as it waited to turn into a driveway off State Road 5 near 100 South. She glanced down and didn’t see the vehicle stopping and rear-ended the other Yukon.

Arron Lambright of Shipshewana was the other driver and was not injured.
