INDIANAPOLIS – The number of building permits issued in September for single family homes in Indiana rose 13 percent from a year ago.

Indiana Builders Association President Don Thieneman says there are still positive conditions for single family home builders.

The number of permits for the first nine months of 2019 is down 3 percent over a year ago.
