CENTREVILLE – It's going to be busy this weekend in Centreville. The 2019 Covered Bridge Days Festival gets underway today with several different events and activities.

Covered Bridge Days committee members Vicki Allen and Elena Meadows say there are some new events for this years festival: the Touch a Truck for kids; a bounce house, magic shows, paint a rock and on Saturday night, a family movie at the Courthouse Square, “How To Train Your Dragon 3”.

Meadows says the theme for Covered Bridge Days 2019 is “Christmas In July”, which will be on display during Saturday's parade. In addition, Santa Claus will be visiting with people from 1 until 3 PM in the Courthouse Square, and he will then be in the parade, starting at 4 PM.
