(STROH) - The Indiana State Police Cold Case Team is asking for the community's assistance.
Detectives are trying to identify the suspect in the shooting of Rocky Swihart near Stroh, Indiana in August of 2015.
Investigators say sometime between 9:15 AM and 10:15 AM on August 21, 2016, Rocky Swihart was at his home on East 350 South near Stroh. A vehicle pulled into his driveway and a man got out of the automobile.
After a conversation with the suspect Swihart turned to go back into his house. When he did, the suspect pulled a gun and shot him in the head. Swihart received severe injuries but survived the attack.
