(LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP) - One person was injured in a two vehicle crash over the weekend.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a two vehicle crash at 12:48 PM Saturday at the intersection of Dailey Road and Beeson Street in LaGrange Township.
Investigators determined that 25 year old Cody Cox of Dowagiac was driving east on Beeson Street when he disregarded the stop sign at Dailey Road, striking a northbound vehicle driven by 53 year old William Murphy of Pierceton, Indiana.
Murphy's passenger, 63 year old Theresa Richreek of Pierceton, Indiana, was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to Lakeland Niles Hospital.
Also assisting at the scene were the Pokagon Tribal Police, the Pokagon Fire Department and the Cass Central Fire Department.
The crash is still under investigation.
