(KENDALLVILLE) - An East Noble High School teacher is charged with two counts of child seduction following allegations from two students.

According to Noble County court documents, 45 year old Jesse Kimmel has been charged with felony counts of Child Seduction of a 14 to 15 year old and Child Seduction of a 16 to 17 year-old.

Court documents say that the Kendallville Police received a report on April 16 alleging Kimmel had inappropriately touched multiple students.

A 14 year old told authorities that Kimmel made her feel "very uncomfortable". The student says Kimmel called her "hun", stood unusually close to her and found reasons to talk to her or be near her that went beyond normal teacher conduct.

The student said there was an incident on March 19 or 20 where Kimmel told her she had dust on her butt as she was returning from the shop area. The student says she went to a room with a sink and started cleaning herself. She says Kimmel followed her, took a wet paper towel and began wiping her rear end for her, making her feel very uncomfortable.

Then on April 26 another student, a 17 year old girl, alleged that Kimmel started touching her inappropriately during the spring of 2025.

The second student told police that the contact involved long, tight hugs during which Kimmel's hands "wouldn't be in the right spot." She alleged Kimmel placed his hands on her hips, buttocks and breasts and demonstrated how the hugs would end with him dragging his hands across her breasts.

The student also told investigators Kimmel kissed her twice on the cheek, called her "gorgeous" and "beautiful," and commented multiple times about the size of her breasts.

The matters are still under investigation.
