Constantine girls first, boys seventh at D-3 Regional track meet

(HILLSDALE) - The Constantine girls track team took first place and the Falcon boys were seventh at their Divivision 3 Regional track meet at Hillsdale. Jaedyn Herlein finished second in both the 110 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles and qualifies for the State Meet in both events. Eliza VandenBerg was second in the shot put and the discus and will advance to the State Finals in both events. The Constantine girls 1600 meter relay team of Jaedyn Herlein, Kaitlyn Jones, Kailee Jones and Morgan Niblock were Regional Champions and now head to the State Meet. They also ran as the 800 meter relay team and finished second and will head to the State Finals. The 3200 meter relay team of Morgan Niblock, Ashlynn Michalek, Allison Burns and Kailee Jones finished second and will be at the State Finals. For the boys, Ryan Manes finished second in the 400 meters and moves to the State Meet. Chase Maines was third in the shot put and will advance to the State Finals. Aaron Hochstetler finished second in the pole vault and will be in action at the State Meet. The 1600 meter relay team of Ryan Manes, Aaron Hofmeister, Cael Smith and Bear Geibe finished fifth and will now move to the State Finals as did the 3200 meter relay team of Aaron Hofmesiter, Bear Geibe, Alessandro Avila and Luke Platz who finished second.
