(PLYMOUTH) - The Glen Oaks softball team split a doubleheader at Marian University's Ancilla College on Saturday. The Lady Vikings lost game one 3-1 and then won game two 6-2. In game one, Audrie Dugan got the start and allowed 3 runs on 8 hits with 1 strike out. Kourtney Zarycki was 3 for 3 at the place. In the second game, Cassie Holland went the distance and got the win, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs with 5 strikeouts. Braylyn Hernandez had a solo homer for the Lady Vikings and 2 RBI. She and teammates Jose Stephenson and Kaidee Gonser had 5 of the team's ten hits. Glen Oaks is 30-14 overall and 22-8 in the MCCAA West Division. The Lady Vikings have qualified for next week's Great Lakes District A Tournament.
