(HILLSDALE) - The Bronson softball team started their season with a pair of non conference wins over host Hillsdale 9-1 and 22-0. Ashlynn Harris was the winning pitcher in game one, going 7 innings and giving up 2 hits and 1 run while striking out 12. Madison Shaw got the win in game two pitching a no hitter in three innings of work, and striking out five. At the plate on the day, Kalyeah Shoup was 3 for 4 with 5 RBI. Lydia Wells was 4 for 6 with 5 RBI and Makenna Arnett was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI. Bronson starts the season at 2-0.
