(ELKHART COUNTY) - A White Pigeon man was involved in a four vehicle crash in northern Indiana.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred just before 5:30 AM Tuesday near the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 37.

Investigators say a vehicle driven by an 18 year old man was heading east on County Road 2 and crossed the center line, striking a Jeep head on. Another vehicle, driven by a 62 year old Elkhart man, was going east on County Road 2 and came to a complete stop behind the crash.

At that time, a vehicle driven by a 34 year old White Pigeon man was going west on County Road 2 and rear-ended the crashed Jeep, which then hit the 18 year old who was getting out of his vehicle.

The White Pigeon man continued heading west, crossed the center line, and hit the stopped vehicle head on.

The 18 year old and the driver of the Jeep were injured. No information was shared about the other drivers.
