(OVID TOWNSHIP) - A one vehicle accident sent the driver to the hospital.
The Branch County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called out Saturday at 12:18 AM for a single vehicle accident in the area of Centennial and Warren Roads for a vehicle that had driven into Coldwater Lake.
Deputies determined that a 19 year old Benton Harbor woman was driving south on Centennial Road and failed to stop at the intersection of Warren Road. The vehicle continued south and struck an outdoor fireplace and boat lift before driving into Coldwater Lake and overturning.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was taken to Insight Hospital and Medical Center Coldwater with minor injuries and possible hypothermia.
The Lakeland Fire Department and Michigan State Police assisted deputies at the scene.
