(UNDATED) - The four people killed in Friday's tornadoes that moved through Southwest Michigan have been identified.
The Branch County Sheriff's Office has identified the three people who died in Union City as 54 year old Keri Ann Johnson, 65 year old Penni Jo Guthrie, and 63 year old William Akers.
All three were recovered in the Prairie Rose Lane/Tuttle Park Drive location.
The National Weather Service says the tornado that moved through Union City was an EF-3.
The tornado that struck Three Rivers was an EF-2 according to the National Weather Service. Authorities say that 12 people were injured in the Three Rivers area.
In Cass County, a 12 year old boy was killed from injuries he received in the tornado.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says his office received a call at 3:12 PM Friday about a possible tornado touchdown on Conrad Road. The caller said they could not find their son.
When first responders arrived they found the parents providing first aid to 12 year old Silas Anderson. He was taken to an area hospital where he later passed away.
