(LAGRANGE) - A 38 year prison sentence has been given to a LaGrange County man.
LaGrange Superior Court officials say 38 year old Gregory Kurzawski was sentenced after being convicted for attempted robbery along with attempted aggravated battery. The penalty was enhanced due to Kurzawski's status as a habitual offender.
The sentence was issued after Superior Court Judge Lisa Bowen-Slaven reviewed the pre-sentence investigation report, heard from the victim and considered arguments from both the LaGrange County Prosecutor and Kurzawski's attorney.
