Sturgis bowling teams start season at Baker Eliminator

(LANSING) – The Sturgis bowling teams started the season at the Baker Eliminator Tournament in Lansing. The Sturgis boys qualified seventh, then lost in the quarterfinals to defending Division 2 State Champion Flint Kearsley. The Lady Trojans qualified fifth, then beat Swartz Creek in the quarterfinals before falling to defending Division 1 State Champion Holt in the semifinals, finishing third on the day.
