Lakeland boys get first win, beating Fremont 89-55

(LAGRANGE) – The Lakeland boys basketball team picked up their first win of the season as they beat visiting Fremont 89-55 in an NECC match up. Nate Keil led the Lakers with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Keegan Merrifield added 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists while Justin Carlson had 11 points and 3 rebounds. Lakeland is now 1-1 overall, and 1-0 in the conference. Fremont is 2-1 and 0-1 in the NECC.
