(READING) – Reading hosted the first Big 8 cross country jamboree of 2023. In the boys race, Union City was first, Bronson was second and Quincy was sixth. Union City’s Ben Gautsche was first overall, while Tyler Wilber of Bronson was second and Quincy’s Chayse Jensen was 22nd. In the girls competition, Concord came in first, Union City was second, Quincy was third and Bronson fourth. Bronson’s Ashlynn Harris was first on the day while Alli Gautsche of Union City was fourth and Kendyl Musielewiez of Quincy was seventh.
