Sturgis girls track splits with visiting Otsego and Niles

(STURGIS) – The Sturgis girls track team also hosted Niles and Otsego in their season opening triangular meet. The Lady Trojans beat Niles 88.5-44.5 and lost to Otsego 78-59. Keyanna O’Tey took first in the 100 meters and was also on the winning 400 meter and 800 meter relay teams for Sturgis. Kinder Smith won the 400 meters and was on the winning 800 meter relay team. Yuri Villafuerte was also on both the 400 meter and the 800 meter relay teams.
