(MENDON) – Mendon notched a home, non conference girls basketball win as they beat county rival Burr Oak 52-29. Makennah Mullin led the way for the Lady Hornets with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Cienna Nightingale had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 assists. Jadyn Samson added 7 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Burr Oak got 9 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals from Braylyn Hernandez. Elaine Holtom had 8 points and 5 rebounds. Mendon improves to 14-4 while Burr Oak is 4-13.
